My inspiration tends to come from two words. The most important words to a writer: “What if?”

– Beth Revis

Hello! I’m Sarah, a themed entertainment and location-based experience writer.

My core areas of interest are show writing, story writing, experience design, exhibit design, script writing, and narrative design.

In August 2023, I graduated with my master’s in English with a focus in creative writing and narrative design. I’m currently part of the Themed Entertainment Certificate program at Purdue Online, while also working as the Grants and Community Engagement Coordinator at The Discovery Center children’s museum.

Over the past few years, I have been part of many student-focused programs to help refine my skills as a themed entertainment writer. These include the Themed Experience and Attractions Academic Society, Haunt Comp, the Themed Attraction Student Showcase, and the NextGen Student Showcase.

The most important thing to know about me is that I am incredibly passionate about storytelling. I love it more than anything else in the world, and I am so looking forward to bringing stories to life.
