Project Background
Conservation Quest is the main attraction that my team developed for the NextGen Student Showcase. It is situated in our land, Naturalia, which you can read more about HERE.
Our goal for this attraction was to create a ride that allowed for our guests to interact with the forest while learning about the animals that lived there. There were several other considerations that we had to take into account while developing this attraction such as the space allotted for the attraction, the target audience, and the goals our client had for the space.
Conservation Question ultimately puts the guests in the positions as conservationists who are helping Mother Nature (the IP we developed for the land) document which animals are currently living in the forest to assess the health of the habitat. As guests ride through the forest, they use their lanterns to search for the animals. The animals that are illuminated by the lantern react to the light.
